The Rotary Club of Fresno unites business professionals to take action and create lasting positive transformation in ourselves, our community and across the world.

The 240+ Fresno Rotarians and their guests gather weekly on Mondays at 12:15 pm to hear great news from our members followed by a guest speaker. This week at the Rotary Club of Fresno we welcomed Mark Keppler as our guest speaker. Mark is the Executive Director of the Maddy Institute, the public policy/public affairs institute for the Valley’s four public universities including UC Merced, Fresno State, Cal State Stanislaus, and Cal State Bakersfield. He was able to provide our club with an update on the Maddy Institute, as well as discuss the recent November election results, the year that was in Sacramento and what is likely to be front and center at the State Capitol in 2023.

The Fresno Mission was the recipient of a $3,000 Community Projects Grant to support games and sports equipment for disadvantaged and underserved youth. We also welcomed New Member, Michelle Williams to the club. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and we'll see you all next week! 🦃🦃🦃

Dan shared with our members the incredible story of Kenny Washington and his trailblazing history in football, baseball, and in motion pictures. This week the Rotary Club of Fresno welcomed Mike Osegueda as our guest speaker. With true entrepreneurial spirit, Mike created Fresno Street Eats, Fresno's food truck destination. His background is in journalism having worked previously at the The Fresno Bee then Yahoo! Sports. He found his calling with Fresno Street Eats by focusing on community partnerships and bringing the best food trucks in the Central Valley directly to where the people are at.

We welcomed Edward Gonzalez of Active Life Financial & Insurance Solutions to the club and presented Evangel Home, Inc. with a $5,000 Community Projects grant to help beautify the courtyard on their campus. Join us next week for another great meeting at our club!

The Rotary Club of Fresno welcomed Fresno Police Department Chief Paco Balderrama to our club meeting this week.
